04 — PPC Control Loop

A PPC operating loop for campaign roles, search-term harvesting, negatives, bids, budgets, placement control, and inventory/finance scale gates.

Positioning: Use ads to harvest signal and rank profitably without losing cash discipline.

  1. Campaign Architecture
    1. Assign Each Campaign One Job — Separate discovery, ranking, defense, product targeting, and profit campaigns so budget and performance are interpreted correctly.
    2. Set Budget Guardrails — Translate contribution margin, launch stage, cash position, and inventory coverage into daily and weekly spend limits.
    3. Harvest and Block Search Terms — Move converting search terms into control campaigns and add negatives where spend has proven unproductive.
  2. Optimization Rhythm
    1. Run the 7-Day PPC Review — Adjust bids, budgets, placements, search terms, and negatives on a consistent rhythm without overreacting to daily noise.
    2. Use the Inventory + Margin Scale Gate — Increase spend only when contribution margin, conversion, and inventory coverage can support the push.
    3. Keep the PPC Decision Log — Record what changed, why it changed, source data, expected result, and the next verification date.
